Collection: MELANIE ELBAZ

Mélanie Elbaz is a French photographer who lives between Paris and Ibiza. She studied at the École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie in Arles and graduated from the Icart School in Paris.

Her work is inspired by the codes of street culture, fashion and the music personified by Radio Nova (New York rap, afro-beat, UK garage, bossa nova, acid jazz…). Mélanie has been commissioned by all the major record labels. She has just released her first book Home Grown. Each of the 70 photos in the book are like the grooves on a vinyl that instantly reveals the soul of a musician at a specific time in their life as an artist.

On one hand, Mélanie’s work is infused with her taste for travel mainly in Africa and Latin America, and her passion for ethnic crafts such as weaving, and embroidery. On the other hand, it is also inspired by American and African photographers and modern design.
