The time and place of this session kept changing. I was supposed to have the crew for an hour to do a front page cover for Best magazine.
After several hours of waiting, the manager finally arrived with Chuck D and Flavor Flav and told me that I had 3 minutes... "And it starts right now!" he said as the only answer to my protests.
While I was shooting, he was counting down the time with one eye on his watch: "3 minutes, 2 minutes, 30 seconds, five, four, three, two, one...IT'S OVER!”
Before I had time to reload my Hasselblad one last time, Flavor Flav had tripped on the leg of one of my projectors and made it fall…
