That year I was on Erasmus in Lisbon, I had no contacts, painting the subway was not easy. So, the first few months, I devoted myself steadily to the street. One day by pure chance, I was in a downtown station and at one point I saw five guys in balaclavas, carrying envelopes, walking on the platform heading toward the tunnel. I was witnessing live action. I was with a girl and I asked her to stay put while I went to see what was going on. I noticed that they had a distracted lookout a little further down on the platform. Within two minutes, four security guards were running toward the tunnel without the lookout noticing. I promptly warned him, and the guys managed to get away. He thanked me and we exchanged contact information. They were by far the most active crew in town.
Later, we met and began a memorable series of subway missions that almost always went wrong. With them I did the craziest missions ever. A great friendship was born. Eventually, they asked me to join their crew. In this photo, we were coming out of the underground depot in Baixa on our first mission together.
